Madaleen is an entrepreneur with a 24-year career dedicated to the veterinary profession. 

After completing her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Pretoria and a Honours degree in Sociology, she joined the Department of Health in the Health Promotion and Communication section. As Assistant Director, she spearheaded various media campaigns and community development projects. She is currently the owner of Vetlink CC, established in 1999, a full service event management and media company. Her expertise also extends to editorial roles, having served as Editor of VetNews of the South African Veterinary Association for over a decade. 

Currently, she is the publisher of Vet360 and the Livestock Health and Production Review. As conference organiser within Vetlink she oversees various projects within the company with a focus on innovation and industry leadership.
