Bio

Ri Scarborough is a veterinarian and a research fellow at the Melbourne Veterinary School in Australia. She is passionate about supporting clinicians and the public to make better antibiotic decisions, acknowledging that such decisions are complex and heavily influenced by non-clinical factors. She is currently working on a One Health project with village communities in Indonesia to identify and address the communities’ animal health concerns, which will also help to address inappropriate antimicrobial use, zoonotic diseases and food security for these smallholders. Ri has two fur kids (a Jack Russell terrier and a Chihuahua cross) and two human kids and dreams of having a hobby farm filled with miniature goats!
