Clément Labarrère is a PhD candidate in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at IHU Méditerranée Infection and Aix-Marseille University. His research focuses on the surveillance and characterization of zoonotic pathogens at the wildlife–vector interface, with a particular focus on African ecosystems. Adopting a One Health approach, he investigates the role of wildlife (specifically non-human primates, bats, and rodents) as reservoirs, as well as the diversity of vector-borne infectious agents.
